This scholarship is an automatic award for UK offer-holders on Bachelor degree courses in the Literature and Languages Discipline (eligible courses listed below) here at the ��. Students living outside of university accommodation will be offered this as a cash award.

International offer-holders should apply for the International Excellence scholarship instead.

Eligibility criteria

To be eligible you must:

Be a UK student, with home fee status
Have made your course application through UCAS by 13 January 2027
Hold an offer to study a full-time bachelors/integrated masters degree programme at FHEQ Level 4 (first-year entry) in one of the following subjects:
- Business Management and Modern Languages BSc (Hons)
- English Literature and French BA (Hons)
- English Literature and Spanish BA (Hons)
- Modern Languages (French and Spanish) BA (Hons).

Students for the foundation year cannot be considered for this award.
