My research project
Self-management intervention for young adults with type 1 diabetesInternationally, young adults with type 1 diabetes have been found to be at high risk for developing diabetic complications. There is currently a lack of evidence-based interventions for this population that work to improve self-management, and in turn decrease the risk of complications. Therefore, this research project will be looking at developing and co-producing a video intervention to help with self-management of type 1 diabetes in 18-25 year olds. The intervention will then be evaluated for effectiveness and acceptability.
