The research is motivated by the importance of English in Thailand, particularly in the tourism industry. Drawing on my personal experience as an English teacher and tour guide in Thailand, I observed challenges in the pedagogy of English for Specific Purposes (ESP) within the tourism education sector, highlighting the need for tailor-made material and a more proactive role from education providers and industry collaboration. The study's goal is to contribute to a deeper understanding of the linguistic and cultural dynamics in nature tourism discourse, particularly in the context of Thailand, and to identify key terms, cross-cultural equivalents, and translation challenges.
