My research project
Isomers, Masses, and Half-lives in the Neutron Rich A~180 RegionThe project is focused on measuring masses and lifetimes of ground states and isomers in neutron-rich nuclei around the A~180. This region exhibits significant deformation which leads to many isomers; measuring excitation energies and lifetimes of these isomers provides important structure information. Measuring new ground state masses further into the neutron-rich region helps to understand how structure changes across increasingly neutron-rich nuclei.
