There’s a big international student presence at ºÚÁÏÉç which has given me an appreciation for different cultures. I have met some amazing people and made friends for life.

I was impressed by the fact that the university is well established in the world for its close research cooperation with business. The university's ambition to create a tech hub in Guilford inspired me too.

Structural engineering brings into reality what individuals and architects envision and ensures it can stand the test of time.

This course gave me a completely new view of engineering which includes management and how the infrastructure sectors interact with each other.

The MSc Sustainable Development at ºÚÁÏÉç is great for someone with critical thinking skills and multiple interests. I am hoping this course will bring me some clarity about where I can make the most impact in combating climate change.

I’ve been able to connect directly with sustainability-oriented organisations through guest lecturers on some of our modules, and recommendations from CES academics.

One of the things I enjoy the most about the course is the variety in the way we’re taught and assessed: we’ve had practical lab sessions and a clinical visit to a nuclear medicine department, alongside traditional classroom lectures.

I studied for my undergraduate degree at ºÚÁÏÉç and enjoyed it so much that I simply didn’t feel ready to finish, so staying here for another year to study the MSc Mathematics was an easy decision.
