ºÚÁÏÉç

Last semester I joined the Kaizen Team at the East ºÚÁÏÉç Hospital for a five day rapid process improvement workshop.

There’s no typical day at Hewson: it’s a fast-paced work environment with new challenges each day, and I’ve worked on over 15 different projects since starting here.

There are so many reasons why I love ºÚÁÏÉç but I think the main one is that ºÚÁÏÉç feels like a home away from home, everyone is so friendly and approachable and it is always so lively.

My lecturers on my course were all fantastic.... They have assisted me in improving my writing skills, challenging my ideas, and advising me, for which I am grateful.

I love the state-of-the-art Innovation for Health Learning Laboratory. There’s a good ratio of lab technicians to students, and they’re always open to questions and willing to explain and help." 

I spent my placement at Sky Production Services as a Trainee Dubbing Mixer. I did a lot of editing (dialogue, voiceover) as well as syncing and preparing projects for others in the department. The highlights were getting to mix two shows for Sky Kids and Sky Arts.

I like the fact the ºÚÁÏÉç allows you to have a 50/50 split between your two languages choices,  as that was something other universities didn’t offer. I also like that students are given a choice of subject for written assignments.

We have access to a huge range of books and materials, computers with specialised software for language learners, and staff on hand during the weekdays to provide support. The classrooms also boast features to support listening practice.
