Paul Zeniewicz Receives Elizabeth Susan Khoury Award of Excellence

On September 22, 2022, Paul Zeniewicz, Esq. had the honor of receiving the Elizabeth Susan Khoury Guardian Ad Litem Award of Excellence from the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association (LASOCBA).

This distinguished award recognizes outstanding volunteerism for lawyers in Orange County, Florida. According to LASOCBA, the nominating committee looks for a commitment to strong representation, success in representation, and innovative forms of representation to indigent and poor clients.


Paul Zeniewicz, Esq. represents multiple guardian ad litem clients on a pro bono basis. A guardian ad litem is someone appointed by the court to investigate what solutions would be in the best interests of a child. The children for whom Mr. Zeniewicz acts as a guardian ad litem range in age from toddler to young adult. Although the issues that these children face are numerous and troubling, Mr. Zeniewicz aims to uphold their role as “next friend of the child.”


Paul Zeniewicz, Esq. accepted the award at the Orange County Bar Association Luncheon held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Downtown Orlando. The luncheon was heavily attended by judges, practitioners, and other legal professionals from throughout Central Florida.
