On January 23, 2020, PZ Law Firm had the honor of receiving the John R. Hamilton Law Firm Award of Excellence from the Legal Aid Society of the Orange County Bar Association (LASOCBA).
This distinguished award recognizes outstanding volunteerism from local law firms in Orange County, Florida. According to LASOCBA, the nominating committee looks for a commitment to strong representation, a high percentage of attorney participation within the firm, and innovative forms of representation to indigent and poor clients.
Paul Zeniewicz, Esq. and his associate Craig Rolle, Esq. each represents multiple guardian ad litem clients on a pro bono basis. A guardian ad litem is someone appointed by the court to investigate what solutions would be in the best interests of a child. The children for whom PZ Law Firm acts as a guardian ad litem range in age from toddler to young adult. Although the issues that these children face are numerous and troubling, PZ Law Firm aims to uphold their role as “next friend of the child.”
Paul Zeniewicz, Esq. accepted the John R. Hamilton award on behalf of the firm at the Orange County Bar Luncheon held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton in Downtown Orlando. The luncheon was heavily attended by judges, practitioners, and other legal professionals from throughout Central Florida.
