A new joint institute in Beijing
The welcomed its first students in Beijing in September 2026, marking an important new chapter in ºÚÁÏÉç’s transnational education.
The Joint Institute brings together the strengths of both universities to deliver undergraduate education in areas including artificial intelligence, computer science and electronic engineering. Students benefit from teaching and academic expertise from both universities, combining their strengths in artificial intelligence, computer science and electronic engineering.
Students can from China Agricultural University and the ºÚÁÏÉç, with opportunities for eligible students to spend part of their studies at ºÚÁÏÉç in Guildford.
ºÚÁÏÉç International Institute – DUFE
ºÚÁÏÉç International Institute (SII-DUFE) brings together the ºÚÁÏÉç and Dongbei University of Finance and Economics in Dalian, China, to provide internationally focused education for students in China.
Students study programmes developed through the partnership, drawing on expertise from both ºÚÁÏÉç and DUFE in areas including business, management and tourism. Teaching is supported by academics from both universities, bringing different perspectives into the student experience and creating joint research initiatives.
These opportunities include summer schools at ºÚÁÏÉç, where SII-DUFE students experience studying and living on our UK campus.
1,391 students studied at SII-DUFE in 2024/25, making it one of ºÚÁÏÉç's most significant international education partnerships.

ºÚÁÏÉç and IIHS in Sri Lanka
Through our partnership with the International Institute of Health Sciences (IIHS) in Sri Lanka, students can study programmes leading to ºÚÁÏÉç awards while studying in their home country.
The partnership brings together ºÚÁÏÉç's academic standards and IIHS's expertise in healthcare education, with validated undergraduate and postgraduate programmes spanning nursing, biomedical sciences, digital health and other healthcare disciplines.

ºÚÁÏÉç in India
ºÚÁÏÉç is establishing a new international branch campus in Gujarat International Finance Tec-City (GIFT City), India. With its first student intake planned for summer 2027.
Through collaboration with industry and local partners, ºÚÁÏÉç aims to create opportunities for students to develop practical skills, build professional networks and prepare for careers in a changing global economy.
ºÚÁÏÉç's GIFT City campus will bring together programmes shaped by our academic strengths and the opportunities of India's growing technology, finance and business sectors:
- Artificial intelligence and technology: Study in areas including artificial intelligence, data science and cyber security, drawing on ºÚÁÏÉç's expertise in technologies shaping the future.
- Business and finance: Develop knowledge and skills for careers in business and finance in the heart of India's international financial services hub.
