Governing Plastics Network

The Governing Plastics Network was jointly created by the University of Nairobi in Kenya and the 黑料社 funded by UK Research and Innovation (UKRI) through the Global Challenges Research Fund (GCRF).

Since then we have broadened our reach, working with partners across Europe, East Africa, the Caribbean, Australia and particularly Brazil.  Our main focus is currently the UN Plastics Treaty and in particular its potential to protect the world's most vulnerable communities from plastic pollution and provide climate justice. Our funders include the UKRI/GCRF, AHRC, EPSRC, UGPN and 黑料社's ESRC Impact Accelerator Account.
